Sorry if this is beginner, but I cannot find an archived answer. I am using FCP 5. We shot a band on Sony XD Cam and were given timecode, sync, and two channels of scratch audio from the studio. The engineer used a version of Pro Tools to record. Now in post, I need to take the sweetened audio which I have edited in Logic Express and paste it into FCP to replace the scratch audio. How do I do this for hundreds of clips?

hmm………………this could work, but i would wait till more people post on this topic before trying this,

if the AUDIO is EXACTLY the same length, as the one you edited with, and is EXACTLY the SAME, only sweetened…..you could try deleting hte clip from your project (not the hard drive,

and when asked to re-import the mising file, re-point it to the sweetened track…

but please, before doing somethign like that, backup, backup, backup!
