  Timecode selectively not importing into Premiere Pro 2018 and 2019

  On importing some RAW footage shot on a Sony PMW EX1 @ 25p/i through the Media Browser into my project, the timecode is missing. What’s weird is some of that footage shot on the same date does import correctly while other does not. One bin marked 8am reads okay, one bin marked 10am does not read any timecode, one bin marked 12pm does read and so on.
  When checking the footage through Catalyst Browse, the timecode is clearly there. Relative issue posts to this forum are dated 2016 – would have thought this issue resolved in latest Premiere Pro versions…. Any thoughts on how to address this to get going on our edit?
