Has anyone experienced an issue when applying the timecode reader filter on a snow leopard machine in FCP and it does not display. Same project on Leopard MBP does display the filter. Weird!

No, I don’t have that problem at all. What codec are you using?

This one is just from DV. Long meeting stuff and it’s fine on one machine but duplicated project doesn’t display the timecode in the canvas or the viewer, strange.

Yeah….same thing. Shut down. restart. Other filters like gaussian, or 3-way color pop right up with no problem. Never seen anything like it.

    Couple things. Trash your caches.

Then make sure all effects are on in the effects pulldown menu. Sorry can’t remember the exact position off the top o my wittle head.
