Hello to all, everything’s been going good so far, thats why I haven’t been up here in a while. But now I’m having a problem. I have a 11 min short film that I’m trying to add the timecode illusion fx onto so I can add music in post in a different location. I added another video channel above the project, and laid the illusion fx there. Its looks great there, but when I render it, it displays this funny looking green bars in between the video. I tried playing around with the properties in the effect mode, but still nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks.

not really the answer to your question, but maybe you could try another plug in from the following site:
    https://joern.free.de/plug.html

there is a free timecode burn in plugin. i tried it once and it worked fine for me

Cool, thanks. I’ll give it a try, but I just found out I’m not running the right specs for Avid HD, and my computer just crashed (not related problems). Hopefully I can downgrade, and/or just upgrade my computer. But I’ll give it a try. Thanks again.

it’s quite at the bottom of this very long list.
it says: FREE Jeffrey Lomicka’s Timecode BurnIn.
It’s written in red. Then you’ll be forwarded to jeffrey’s site.

But what i just saw: it is already a part of the illusion fx. i used it for a long time, even before it was implemented into avids effect palette.
    sorry for confusing you guys.
