    Hi guys –

I’m trying to get the TC Generator to display the source clip names of multiple video and audio tracks. For the life of me I can’t seem to get it working properly. The generator seems to be glitching, telling me that certain tracks do not exist (when they do exist).

I’ve attached a screenshot to show it. Track A3 clearly has audio files on them, yet the generator tells me “no such track.” Notice that it properly displays the info on track A1, but no other audio tracks. I am confused!

Has anyone else experienced this kind of buddiness from the generator? I am not well versed in AVID, so this may be a known issue? Please help!

Tech Info: running on a 2008 macbook pro (certified system) with a clean install of OSX 10.6.6. I’ve tried both on Media Composer 5.03 and 5.5.1 — same issue!

I think the trick is to add at least one frame of media at the very start of the sequence for the tracks that the TC burnin effect is now not recognizing.

You’re a life saver. This worked, so long as I put a clip on every track that I needed to display.
