Timecode from ATEM 1 M/E switcher to monitor
Our Time of Day TC comes from a master clock and goes through our three Ki Pros and then into a Blackmagic 1 m/e production switcher. The timecode doesn’t display with the video in UltraScope or show up on our reference monitor.
Apparently, the TC used to show up on the reference monitor, which is a two piece Sony LCD and multiformat engine. It stopped at one point and I’ve been charged with problem solving this. All the Ki-Pros are getting TC, but I dont know what happens to that signal. It goes from the last Ki-Pro into the ATEM’s VGA audio and TC I/O port on the back
I’m a floor manager for a studio that’s going through a lot of personnel changes. I’m in the control room much more often now and have been learning the ropes, but this TC problem is baffling. I don’t really know how to troubleshoot this type of issue. Thanks.
