  • Timecode Burn-In Video Track refuses to render

    Ok so I’m attempting to export out my sequence with a layer of timecode on top. For some reason though the filler track with TimeCode on it refuses to render/export. Does anyone know why this Burn In Time Code filler track refuses to render in my timeline.

    Ok so here’s my process:

    -I have my sequence, I add another video track and add TimeCode Burn-In from the Generator Tab onto to that new filler track
    – Next I try an overall blanket render, rendering the entire sequence
    – Everything Renders Except for the TimeCode layer
    – For kicks I attempt to do a Video Mix-down and receive this error message:
    SWDecodeCtvr::ExecuteRequest()
    CONSISTENCY CHECK FAILURE !?! : ()
    The media created to this point may be unsuable and/or incomplete

    – If I attempt to do a video mix down before and add a TimeCode Burn-In after wards, the filler track still refuses to render
    – If I attempt to render the effect directly from the effect editor I get this error message:
    SWDecodeCtvr::ExecuteRequest()
    CONSISTENCY CHECK FAILURE !?! : ()

    – Attempting to do a Video mix down of the Video Mix Down and the TimeCode filler track results in a similar message
    – Same thing if I attempt to export the Mixdown sequence

    I should note that:
    – adding Timecode Burn-In directly to the Video Mix Down Track does nothing different
    – The sequence renders/exports fine without the TimeCode Filler Track
    – Tried doing this whole process on another machine and everything worked fine as it should
    – Nothing changes when I restart the program/computer

    I am truly stumped for why this happening or what to do about. If any you guys I have any suggestions/solutions I’d be glad to hear them.
