    Greetings,
Every once in awhile while doing a capture, I get timecode breaks. I had the User prefs set to abort on dropped frames, and make new clip on time code breaks. I’ve turned both of those off and i’m going to try again.
Is there a better way to deal with this? Is there anything I need to worry about once the capture is done?
My capture deck is a Sony DSR-45.
    Thanks much!

If you have a ton of breaks, I’d dub the tape and create a new TC track. Use the dub as the source tape from then on…

If you capture over a timecode break, the timecode recorded past the first break will be wrong, so recapture in the event you have to do this, would really involve a re edit…
