  Timecode break when capturing

  I capture video clips off of DVD’s a lot and I have the DVD Player going into a Media Bridge which connects via firewire to my 15″ Powerbook. Everytime I capture video about every minute i get a timecode break and the capture frezzes and I have to stop and rewind the DVD and pick back up again. I thought it was the computer because I just bought this new 15″ Powerbook but it is doing it on this computer too. Is there anyway to fix this?
