I have a problem with my after effects. When I time stretch something and play the video it doesnt play the entire video nor can I seem to make it play the entire video it just play part then replays. I thought that time stretching it would time stretch/slow the entire thing and not just play it partially. Is it something with my settings or something thats not letting the video play entirely or something. Any help would be appreciated. Also how can my timeline show minutes instead of frames. I cant find an answer for that either.

usually all you have to do is make the comp duration longer in composition settings and drag layer to right.

if you use pixel time stretch, precomp it then add timestretch to the precomp, you can then make the precomp long enough for the effect to run all the way through.

    * To cycle through Timecode Base, Frames, and Feet + Frames, Ctrl-click (Windows) or Command-click (Mac OS) the current-time display at the bottom of the Composition, Layer, or Footage panel, or at the top of the Timeline panel.
    * To change time display units, choose File > Project Settings, and choose from the options in the Display Style section.
