How do you remove “time stretch” using the ctrl key and the mouse(not velocity envelope) on an event once it’s been made. In other words, how do I bring it back to a normal speed?

Right-click the event and select Properties and on the Video Event tab change the Playback rate to 1.000. Then drag the end of your even until you see the divot on top disappear indicating that the event is at the original length (i.e., drag right if it was sped up to make it longer or drag left it if was slowed down to make it shorter).

Thanks. I had the part figured out about the properties but didn’t know about the zig zag line disappearing by sliding it.

Since you have VASST Property Assistant, you could change the playback rate using Property Assistant and check the Adjust Length option and it will do both for you at once.
