well i had no problem using time remap in ae 6.5 pro… for example if i wanted to freeze the last frame of the footage.. i used to enable time remap.. and then drap the last keyframe to extend tht last frame frozen for however long i wanted,,…

but tryignt o do same in AE 7 is not working… i tried using ae help.. which says..

To freeze the last frame without changing the speed
In a Composition or Timeline panel, select the layer you want to remap.
Choose Layer > Time > Enable Time Remapping.
In the Graph Editor, click the Time Remap property name to select the start and end keyframes.
Click the final keyframe in the movie to select it.
Choose Animation > Toggle Hold Keyframe.

i am doing exactly the same steps.. but still not working.. any idea where i could be going wrong..??
    thanks.

It is a bit different but I was able to figure it out. I simply copied the keyframe I wanted to extend/freeze and pasted where I wanted to be. That held the image.
