    Hi all,
Thanks for your help the last little while on getting my system up and running. Edited iwth the client today and things went well, considering! No more renders until the layers start stacking up, so that was great. I hope you don’t mind if I chime in with a few questions here and there.

The video I am working on has a section in the middle that is a long dialogue piece. Client wants the video and audio to start normal speed, but then ramp up to double time (or more). I figured out the time remapping on the video clips, which is really great because it is fast, but now I can’t figure out how to get the audio to time remap along with the video.

I realize that this cna be done in After Effects, which I will probably end up using, but I’d like to learn the way to do it in FCP or the studio softwares. If I have to take it into soundtrack, how can I give myself markers to know where to start the ramp and end the ramp? Is there another way this could be done? Can motion do it?

I’ve read around, but nobody seems to be talking about keeping the audio with it. We DO want the pitch to go up along with it.

    thanks
    -T
