  • Time Remapping Stabilized clip?

Hey all… using Warp Stabilizer in AE5.5 on a 5sec clip, but would like to slow it down 50%, maybe just 75%… time remapping in PP leaves it choppy, and AE tells me I can’t remap stabilized footage.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,

Try remapping a precomp of your stabilized footage.

Alternatively, why not render your stabilized footage into a lossless codec and reimport it?

Thanks again Michael… that was simple enough, still getting my bearings here and certainly not learning in a “linear” fashion, but I’ll never ask the same question twice…

Precomposing is one of the most basic elements of working in After Effects. I would highly suggest that you find some method of learning that will get you some of the foundational concepts to help you avoid frustrations like this.
