    Hi there.

I’m trying to set up a time remapping expression between three comps. The driver comp is time remapping a two level precomp that contains footage at its base. The middle comp is a flipbook animation with page flips every 20 frames. What I want to be able to do is time remap the driver comp so that I can speed up or slow down the rate of the page flips without affecting the speed of the footage – so the idea is that as the distance betwen frames in the master comp decreases it inversely increases in the footage precomp.

So far I’m stuck at linking the time remapping property of the footage layer to the master comp – I thought perhaps I could do something like:

    comp(“TIme Master”).layer(“Page Flip”).timeRemap

and then /1 or *-1 or something like that – but really guessing I need something more complex and probably beyond my mathematical abilities.

    Any ideas?
