Time offset using Calculate Channels Effect
I’m trying to use this interesting effect:

But when I tried to apply it to a couple of other clips in other sequences the Second Video Layer had a time offset of between 10 and 60 seconds!
I’m using PP5.5 on a MBP.

Hmm. May have solved my own problem…
The clips that didn’t work had other effects applied to them: either Mercalli, Speed change, or Horizontal flip. Not sure why that last one would cause a time shift, but removing it allowed my to use the Calculate Channels effect.
