Time machine for local backup?
I’m getting used to a non-shared environment. For my project files, is doing manual time machine backups a good option? I don’t want automatic backups because it seems like TM is a resource hog so when editing I’m going to try and avoid it.
Right now I’ve been backing up my project files twice a day to the cloud and to another local storage device in addition to a thumb drive. I’m fine with this method but am willing to explore other options.
