Time line wont play the sequence?
Hello.
I was manipulating with frames in Cinema tools to get smooth slow motion effect. From 59,98fps went to 23,98fps. After going back to fcp 7 i could play the clip in preview, but not on the time line. ..it moves 3 frames and stops. I tried different time line settings. Time line is set on clip settings: 1280×720 24fps…There is a catch but i have a block, it has to be simple as cake…i just forgot long time not used fcp.

I mean clip wont play on Time line…it moves 3 frames and stopes…

What are the clip settings? Codec? What are the timeline settings?

I exited the FCP 7 program and now it works fine…I could not do it before because i was exporting.
I happend while using cinema tool for smooth slow motion. Preview worked fine, when putted on time line was just stucked.clip: 1280 x 720 24fps H.264
Time line: HDV 720p 24 i also tried several other settings.Thanks for taking interest in my problem…

BUZZZZZZZTT! Don’t use H.264 clips in FCP. EVER. Transcode to ProRes. If you want to edit H.264 native, use Adobe Premiere Pro.
