I’ve been working on a project for awhile and everything was fine until I started working on it today.

For some unknown reason, one of my clips in the timeline has decided to insert frames from a different time in that same clip every few seconds. The original file format is MTS. The original source file does not contain this problem.

I’m not really sure how to explain it unfortunately.

As an example, say you’re watching a movie and there are subliminal messages that get inserted for one or two frames. It’s like that but it’s taking frames from different time indexes in that clip. The clip is only 2 seconds long and no matter how many times I replace the clip with a new one it does the exact same thing. All my other clips are perfectly fine.

    Thanks.

Does this clip do this when you put it in a brand new project all by itself?

It sounds like the clip itself is corrupted (in the file structure) to me.
