  Time Displacement Effects After Effects too Slow

  Hello there!

  I’m using the Time Displacement effects in many different ways having great results, but, it is unbelievable how much it takes for the render in some cases, even the preview takes 20, 50 or 100 seconds to render each frame.

  Now my question is: is there an alternative to this effect I don’t know or some way to achieve the same result without using so many samples ( 1600 in 16bit to have smooth shapes )?

  In the image I have used 2 Displacement Time fx with a Time Resolution of 120, and I have a time for rendering in quarter of 5 sec por frame 😀
