I have a project that has bars and tones and when the actual program starts the timecode has to be set to 1:00:00;00.
    I’m using SMTP drop frame.
No matter what I do I can’t get the project is starting at 00:01:00;02 frames.
If I back up a frame it starts at 00:00:59;29.
The timeline is streched out so I’m sure I’m jumping one frame at a time.

Why can’t I get it to begin exactly at: 1:00:00;00?
    Thanks
    Roger

Roger, that’s the way drop frame works and there’s no way around it.
A frame is dropped every minute except for the 10th minute.
It works out to 108 frames per hour that have to be dropped.
