time and date not being captured or just not in video
I am doing surveillance videos and we just got Vegas 8 where i work the problem is the time and date are not showing in the video they are on in the camera and when i used the old software pinnacle 10 the time and date is still there. I there something in vegas to turn on or off?

Are you talking about the timecode or a date/time stamp? You can turn on “show active take names” in the options-preference menu and that will show the clip name and original TC on your clips in Vegas. I always have it on.
Date/Time stamp? I do legal video work. My Sony DSR-250 prints the D/T to the video and once it’s there it’s always there! YOu can’t remove it so I’m thinking you’re refering to the TC’s.
