[John Pale] “Whether I am right or wrong, its a horribly designed webpage that is totally unclear…just too much info and not very well explained. “

I’ll totally agree with that one. One of the worst web pages out there and very confusing.

Just wanted to jump in add that I too think its one of the worst web pages out there. Its terribly confusing and they try to “trick” you into buying the standard everytime you think your going to be clicking on a free download… took me a while to figure it out.

Walter was correct – I thought all of you were crazy, because you get the impression that you MUST pay for it, or give your credit card #. But as you go thru it, you see that you can still get the free .sit expander.

As you go to client sites, you can’t go to everyone “oh yea, let me just download this great new software from AJA for you, oh by the way, give me your credit card because even though the upgrade is free, the Stuffit is now 50 bucks !”. But as you so correctly pointed out, if you keep going in the site, and pass thru all the “buy full version” or “upgrade for $$$”, you see where the free expander is. I certainly was not going to chance buying it once, and putting it on everyone’s system for free.

    Thanks for your perserverence.

As John noted above, it is one of the worst designed websites as it’s pretty easy to assume you have to pay for the software. Or I guess, maybe that makes it’s on of the best designed sites out there, tricking you into thinking you need to spend your money. Either way, not a very friendly site and at least we don’t need to go to it very often.
