    Hi,

I have a comp taking 20min with an countdown and I would like to visualize the secounds.

What I have is a solid with a mask growing and shrinking the shape of the mask with two keyframes.

How can loop these keyframes automatically? Unfortunatly I can not add any expression to the shape (‘loop_out(

since you can’t add expressions to masks, i think you need to pre-comp you mask animation, set that comp to the length of your loop, then try your loopout expression on then now nested pre-comp.

you mean with using time remapping keyframes and a loop expression, right?

correct, enable time remapping for your nested pre-comp and enter: loopOut(“cycle”,0). then extend the layer’s end point to the length of the comp.

Sorry to bother, but I have to ask again – unfortunatly the loop does not work.

    What I have done …

o Precomp the mask animation (duration 1sec)
o placed the mask ani comp in my main clock comp
    o Enabled time remapping
    o Added two keyframes: 1st at 00:00 with value 00:00 and 2nd at 01:00 with value 01:00
    o Added expression “loopout(“cylce”,0)”

    Where is my mistake?

the comp with the second animation was not the same length as the comp I placed it in.

So I extended the lenght, applied the expression ‘loop_out(“cycle”,0)’ and now it works.

    Thanks.
