    Hi everyone,

I am doing a spring time media management cleaning of my power mac, and setting things straight on my new macpro 2,66ghz….I was wondering if trashing my thumbnail and waveform caches from G5, would make any dammage on my newsetup and the project files that I am importing from g5…Hope I am making myself clear enough…one way to put it…how smart is it to copy all thumbnail and waveform caches folders from g5 to the new macpro in terms of stability and render times on old project files on the new computer….???

    Thanks

no, you can trash them. Final Cut will recreate them on your assigned scratch disk when you open that project again…wherever you move it to…
