This should be really easy for people who know expressions. I am trying to link the Transform effect scale of layer A to the Blur Radius of a Camera Lens blur on layer B and have it offset by 100. So when the Blur Radius is at 0 the transform is at 100 and when I increase the Blur Radius the Scale increases. This is what I worked out so far.

    100-thisComp.layer(“blur”).effect(“Camera Lens Blur”)(“Blur Radius”)

The problem is the Scale decreases when I increase the Blur Radius. What do I change?

I think you just need to change the minus to a plus:

    100+thisComp.layer(“blur”).effect(“Camera Lens Blur”)(“Blur Radius”)

That did it. Now what if I want ratio between the two different. Say the parent keyframe increases by10 and the child increases by 5. Is that possible?

I’m not sure if this is what you mean, but give it a try:

    100+thisComp.layer(“blur”).effect(“Camera Lens Blur”)(“Blur Radius”)/2

    That worked and thanks!
