I have a logo that i want to explode then arrange back together. I have traced it in illustrator and imported it into 4d. I added a extrude nurbs to the object and now all i want to know is how can i make the logo editable besides the obvious. Is there anything i need to do to it to create the explosion effect.

i mean i understand that you can press c make the object editable, and then add a random effector or something to that nature. But, is that all? are there other ways, perhaps simplier ways of achieving this?

    Thanks in advance

I dont think your going to get simpler way unless you go with the explode deformer.
I would suggest in the extrude nurbs to use a quad grid for the caps instead of the default Ngons.
