OK, I can’t cache Thinking Particles, correct?

If I render a particle ridden scene on Net Render with 24 machines, I will get particles popping in and out on certain frames. I rendered a software quality version on one machine and the particles behave just fine. Is there a known problem with Thinking Particles and Net Render?

Is this a 32/64 bit thing? An OS thing?

    Thanks,
    Brian

Just got off the phone with Maxon Tech support and they are aware of Thinking Particles not behaving properly in a network rendering environment….and ya know what?….They have no intention of fixing that!

Hate to say this but I just lost some respect for Maxon. They want me to buy MoGraph to solve this issue…. a wonderful marketing scheme to get me to shell out more dough (rolling eyes).

I’ll take an extra few days and render it on one machine, thanks. This bites.
