  Thinking of moving from FCP5 to Avid Express Pro

  Hi-

  I know this is sort of a “loaded” question and perhaps a big and complicated one…. but I’m looking for a fairly simple answer (if it’s possible).

  What are the MAJOR differences between MAC based Final Cut Pro 5 and MAC based Avid Express Pro HD?

  I’m about to begin editing a project with multiple formats. Also, lots of media to manage.

  Also, we’ll be using Adobe After Effects…. I know this works with FCP5… any reason it wouldn’t work well with AVID?
