I’m running AE7 (win) on the 17″ w/2gigs of ram.

It is very fast. I’ve been nothing but happy with it. One task run VERY slow, and I don’t know why, so I just do it on another machine —
Soundkeys runs SUPER DOOPER slow, (like 15/20 seconds to calculate each frame), but it’ll fly on my dual 2.7 os x machine. That seems to be the only slow effect though, which is maybe because it is more of a calculator than an actual effect. For its overall speed, who cares. Shine/starglow/particular may as well be running in realtime.

I’d recommend one. They work great. Had a few bios problems in the beginning, and they still come up, should clear up when leopard comes out.

[Charles Bittner] “hown bout parallels? any thoughts on that? does that work?”

It works fine. However, for some reason it won’t detect the DirectX settings.
