Thin lines on DVD after Architect widescreen pal
Hi there,
Mr romano has give me much help getting vids onto dvd and many have worked!
This one is a 1280×720 filled with both SD and 1440×1080 footage. I know the project is higher def than dvd but i didnt no if i was going to do a nicer computer version in 720 so i left it like that.
I have rendered it in mpg2 with DVD architect Pal Widescreen stream and it comes out 80% as nice as i would have liked.. it has VERY small lines during movement or fine detail (horizontal). They are only about 1 px big each on my 42″ plasma and frankly not the end of the world,. however… this is not normal quality so i dont know if ive got a setting wrong somewhere!
It has larger lines, then i checked the box for “alter source media” etc in the project setting and they reduced in size to how they are now, but still.. bit off!
Any ideas pplz? Im learning more each time!!

It sounds like these are interlace artifacts. In your project properties, what is your deinterlace method set to?
