    Hello all
I’m kinda know AE but i’m new to its plug-ins…There’s tons of plug-ins for AE and most of them are redondent.

Let’s say i need to do a lens flare. Should i go with the standart one in AE or the saphire one, or the boris one, the cycore one… ?

So, what are your favourite plugs and why ?

Search the COW for “plugins” … this has been asked many times.

But in the Lens Flare case, Knoll is the plug of choice, if the effect that ships isn’t good enough.

Before going out and spending a lot on plugins try doing the needed effect within the suite.

There are only a few plugins/programs I would call necessary to keep up with trends. Zaxwerks, Particle Illusion, and Trapcode’s plugins.
