There was a problem reading this document

Hello. I need help with Adobe Illustrator program.

When i try to open .ai file which was downloaded a month ago i recieve the following message:
“There was a problem reading this document “.
I tried to open it on another computer but no luck. Any ideas how to repair ai file?

Hey Ben – Have you searched the forum? This question has been asked a lot.
Can you open it with Acrobat or run it through Distiller?
