The whole QT 7.4 thing
I just wanted to thank all the guys & gals who figured out the whole pacifist/replaced/ QT 7.3 work around.
I had a huge project today and would have been totally boned without it.
Mac has always bragged about being the choice of graphic artist, but with stunts like this… let’s just say I’m very unhappy.

Is this referenced somewhere else in the forum? I hadn’t heard of any solutions, but I’d love one =)

Darby, the Pacifist route worked for me.
Download QT 7.3 but then unpack it with Pacifist. Select the list of contents then use the ‘install into default location’ in Pacifist. Remember to click the ‘replace’ option when it asks.
