Activity Forums Business & Career Building The Whole COW experience

It always boggles my mind when Ron and Kathlyn share usage stats with me. Sure the overall numbers are most impressive, but far more surprising is the astounding lack of overlap between the various parts of the COW.

Even now only a relatively small percentage of forum users get the magazine. Who accesses the Podcasts? A smaller percentage than you would think. And the COW’s latest offering of Blogs? A mere fraction of the readership of the forums. People: you are missing out on a LOT.

The purpose of this post is to point out one recent blog posting that everyone who visits the Business & Marketing forum should not miss. Walter Biscardi has begun a simply brilliant piece entitled “Your Own Business, Are You Ready?” I, for one, can hardly wait for the parts 2, 3 and 4 which are promised to follow.

    Find it at: https://blogs.creativecow.net/node/273

If you enjoy and learn from the postings here in the Business COW, don’t miss this. (And while you’re at it, take advantage of the COW, the whole COW and nothing but the COW.)

    Hey Nick,

Have we told you lately that we love you? :o)

Like you, we still get our minds boggled by the great things that the members of the COW produce. Yes, Walter’s blog posting is remarkable.

We are in a series of meetings right now with our legal team and when we get done, we assure you that Walter’s blog post will be made into an article for the COW Library, it’s just too good to leave only to those who visit the blogs. (But if you visit Nick’s link, you can know that you read it first, before the crowds.)

Walter, you are a true bovine, and I have to say that we cracked up at your promo piece that you sent through for your soon-to-ship Apple Color training DVD for the Creative COW Master Series. It was exactly what I’d expect from you and Abraham, Kathlyn and I all laughed out loud when we watched it. Too funny.

I’d love to get the podcasts, but I’m on dial-up at home and can’t really do the podcasts at the day job either. Maybe if I could get them on CD’s or a dataDVD… in some kind of compilation… Data DVD’s are pretty fat, yet cheap; I bet a lot of podcasts and several issues of the magazine and tutorials would fit on them. Might make for nice giveaways at trade shows or premiums for subscribers…

    Walter,
How much are you paying the new “Pitchman”? Or do you call ’em “Barkers” in Altanta?
