So I have a G5 tower dual processor OSX 10.3

I have two video cards and I think one of them is screwy – my monitor only displays greenscreen style when I plug it into video card number one…

So that’s another isssue, but when i play final cut with video card 1 (greenscreen) it all plays smoothly.

BUT… when I tranfer my monitor to plug into video card 2, all the color returns to the screen, but when I press play in FCP, all heck breaks out and the screen strobes and flickers like my actors are possessed by deamons!!

    Can someone help me please?

I’ve seen a bug in FCP that causes it to freak out on playback if you change the monitors when it’s open. So if you close FCP and reopen it, does it still freak out?

When my G5’s video card started to show green lines all around the screen I had to replace it.
Why don’t you start to making sure that the video card is “kaput”?
And why do you need two video cards? Do you use more than two screens?
