  • The video transitions are messing with the video…

    Hi,

Hope you’re fine. I’ve been working in a video for such a long long time and it’s taking me more than I expected and it’s because of the video transitions, everytime I apply one of them in a sequence, the image change its color for a little bit, then it fades. That change pops so bad, I don’t like the green color when I put a video transition into the video, it’s happening only at the end of the clip where the video transition is, and just when it comes the video transition. It never happened to me before, I don’t know what’s wrong, I just want the video transitions to work nice with everything.

I trashed the preferences, I rendered everything, I tried with other clips, I applied some color corrections and other things but nothing happens.

Please, help me. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried rendering even the full render sections?

    To do this, goto:
    Sequence>Render Selection>Full
(this should put a little check mark next to full if you go back and look at it again)

Now highlight your transition and hit apple+R this will do a software render on your Full rendered transition and should take care of your problem.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks for the quick response.

I’ve been rendering fully and believe me, nothing happens, I don’t know what to do. Now I’m having another trouble with the speed, I’m increasing the speed in a clip, then reversing it and the quality of the video looks crappy and it bounces from cut to cut, I mean, when it’s going on fast forward it looks okay but when it goes from that cut to the other one in reverse, it bounces and looks blurry. It has to do something with remapping?

Do you think there’s something wrong with my settings in final cut? I’m using a G5.

I’m gonna give up on editing… Now I feel like I don’t know anything about Final Cut.

Speed can be kinda tricky with FCP, I’d suggest taking your time remapping into AAE CS3 if that’s an option it has frame accurate controls plus better motion interloping than final cut does.
