The timecode on my mini DV tape is not the same on clip when captured.
The producer notes are of the time code that is on the tape.
I have one tape where the time code on the clip and tape are the same, but the other clips are slightly off to way off.

How do I…..Get them to match every time?

The odd thing is that is should match every single time…if you captured properly.

You didn’t capture some of the footage with your device control set to UNCONTROLLABLE DEVICE and Capture Now did you? That will ignore the timecode on the tape and generate it’s own.

Does timecode appear if captured over 1394 interface? (Just a personal question)

do you have it set to ignore timecode breaks?

if so, all code after a break will be wrong.
