  • The Text flicker of Scrolling vertical text!

This seems to be one of the trickiest problems- scrolling vertical end credits for a video seems to flicker and get caught inbetween the scan lines causing it to appear that it is stuttering instead of a fluid move.

I am trying to use the graph editor to adjust velocity.

    Does anybody have an antidote?

I heard that if the movement was sped up it would not flciker but unfortunately the text has to be readable.

    help!

    Thank you Dave,

This is by far the most comrehensive solution I had. One quick question: This is going into an HD time line in Final Cut Pro and is a 1280 x 720 comp in After Effects, since HD has no fields, would that change how you would approach this?

Hi Dave, thnx for this kind of help.
I am atually working with an Autodesk Inferno. Ive been trying to do some credit rolls but all of them had the “flickering” problem.
Im workin on a 24 fps project and using a 2048 X 23000 .Tiff credit graphic. So u r saying that i have to get the graphic final position by multiplying 24 by some big number? That will do it??
    Thanx again for ur help.
    Rod
