I’ve been having problems with a huge long render and when I get “failed” I want to find out why. But I can’t find the log files. I’ve done all kinds of searches and there just aren’t any. I can’t find any log files dated after January this year. What has become of of them? I’ve now set the thing to purge memory after every ten frames and so far so good, but it’s good some times to see those logs. Any ideas why they stopped being made? How to start them again? I’ve done a zillion renders since January. Well, a lot, anyway.

Hate to state the obvious, but next to your Render Settings there’s a dropdownmenu that can choose how and if you want to log.

Yeah, and the setting never has been changed. It’s always been, and remains, “errors only.” So where are the errors which ocurred with the “failed?” And why did it all suddenly stop logging as of January this year?
