June 7, 2009 at 11:08 amI’m sure this is already mentioned in several of the replies already but you should definitely check out the RED forums and investigate the products and workflows that are out there.
One of the things that’s interesting about the new Adobe workflow is that you are editing the native .R3D files but can alter your playback resolution. In essence you can edit ‘virtual proxies’ Premiere Pro 4.1 will also allow you to access the source settings to allow access in the NLE of exposure, contrast, tint, kelvin, etc.
As for conforming in Adobe, the one usually recommended is to import your Premiere Pro project into After Effects and output whatever you need (usually DPX files).
