The Media Manager is not installed with Vegas Pro 8
Hi,
I installed vegas pro 8 and when clicked on Media manager tab on the application, I see a message saying “The Media Manager is not installed”. Can anyone tell me how and where to get this?Thanks in advance.

Same place you got Vegas. If you bought a disc, it’s on the disc. If you bought Vegas as a download, you can download the Media Manager from the same place.

With Vegas 10 on Win. sys 7, it wasn’t installed when i installed Vegas. I tried their on-site instructions (reinstalling and a bunch of other useless shenanigans) before i finally happened upon this link where there’s a handy-dandy link to download Media Manager:

I did so, and everything’s fine now; Vegas with the fully functional Media Manager.
What’s really annoying is why they didn’t put a link to that page on their general download page. It’s a miracle (of google’s “search this site” feature) that i found the page at all.

Hey, Thanks a million for posting that link! I had the same issue with Vegas Pro 10 on Win 7.
