Just finishing up on a project with XDCAM and RED files combined.
The Export to Sorenson, QuickTime Uncompressed and even DNxHD 145 comes out darker than the original clips in the sequence.

In the past it was a Gamma shift to a lighter tone that was the PIA.

    Now what caused this?

Oh nevermind, just went and tried ProRes4444 (Im sure the lower ones work too) and it turns out perfect.

Not sure what happened to the older/DNxHD codecs must be a QT7 thing?

RGB or 709 when you exported?

    709 during earlier attempts.

Another oddity is that between two nMP with Avid MC installed, one of them tends to import H264 files with that awful Gamma issue.
The blacks would be grey in the import.
I was sure the same codecs were installed on both machines.
Only difference is that suspect nMP system is sharing Adobe Premiere and FCPX codecs/software install.
