The case of the disapearing footage
Hi Folks:
I have created 3 – 45 min DVD’s using Sony Vegas Movie Maker. The first 3 have gone without a hitch even though they are large files. The last one unfortunately burns (I use a sony software called Click to DVD) but I lose 5 minutes or more of the last footage including scrolling credits and outakes.
I use Sony DVD-R DVD’s which have worked great for the other 3 DVD’s. Each DVD on the Sony storyboard shows that they are abouy 40-45 min long. This one is no exception. The only thing that is different from the other 3 dvd’s is that it has scrolling credits added.
When I went to select: make movie in vegas and render the film I was prompted with the following message: The estimated size of the 9.05 GB may not fit in the destination folder. Do you wish to continue? I selected yes of course and it rendered fine.
Thinking this was a hard drive space issue I freed up space on my harddrive. I also put DVD # 4 in an entirely different folder all by itself thinking perhaps this was the problem.
I did gain a bit more footage this way but still am missing a considerable chunk at the end of my film.
Man am I puzzled. This project has taken me all winter long and I am really looking forward to its completion. Can anyone help… please… whimpers unprofessionally…. grin..
Thanks!
Don
