the BLINK video filter
here’s a feature i use a lot in final cut pro, the blink video filter. But I don’t use it to blink video, I use it to make video transparent with the opacity feature. It’s easy for still frames, I can freeze frame the result, but for video, it wants to blink every 30 frames, that’s the minimum I can get is a frame that is transparent for 29 out of 30 frames, so it jolts you every 30th frame. I was really praying that that feature would allow you to make the off duration infinity, but there’s gotta be a transparent feature in this software without the blinking, I just can’t find it, nor in the user manual.
If anyone knows where it is, I’ll love ya.

How about opacity in the Motion tab?

You also have the composite modes, screen, overlay and multiply give some degrees of transparency, play around with them.
