I have a DV video about 3mins long, 541MB originally. What would be the best setting if I want it to be exported as a video (a showreel, that is)and uploaded it in the internet without losing too much quality but small enough to be downloaded? I tried it using 320×240 and used h.264 compression but it looks like pixelated. Ive seen showreel about 3mins long which have good quality but maintain small file size. Could anyone tell me what’s the best setting for a showreel? thanks in advance.

the quicktime h264 worked pretty good for my reel, and should be ideal for your situation. I’ve also had ok experience with sorenson 3.

what’s your target size? what are your render settings in ae? more info please… 🙂
