    The Best Canon Camera prosumer

    Hi,
    I hope this question hasn’t been asked before and if it has then I apologize.
    I have a Panasonic CCD low end camcorder and I am frustrated by the lens for close ups etc. What would be the next step up for a good lens?

    On the lower end of the price scale: Canon HV30 or HF100 or HF10
    On the higher end of the price scale: Canon XH A1

    I have heard a lot about the XL2. Any opinions about that or anything similar in the category.
