Please note that I’m not very experienced in Cinema 4D so my understanding of it is pretty basic. On that note, this is also my first time actually posting on creative cow so bear with me.

So I downloaded a 3D model off of Sketchfab that I want to use for a render, but whenever I apply the textures to the model they seem to not map correctly (screenshot: 13067_f.png.zip), this is how it’s supposed to look (13066_metroidprime2echoes20041007013121853.jpg.zip). If anybody can help me in any way I’d very much appreciate it. Thanks.

    Hi,
I would guess the texture mapping method is something other than UVW. I’m also assuming the model you bought has been UV mapped. If it hasn’t, you would have to do that on your own. Doubtful though. It’s also possible the original model had textures applied to individual pieces, and each piece was individually UV mapped? maybe. Open up the UV tag, and check the UV’s that should tell you what’s going on. If you’re not familiar with UV’s, there’s a lot on this site about that.
