it looks like a sweep of a spline along a spline but I’ve seen some tutorials on Greyscale Gorilla that look related.

Been seeing a lot of people experimenting with these (so there must be a tutorial somewhere because that’s what a bloom of examples usually follows). I got wondering if it might be a TP particle system (or XP) with tracers.
