hi creative cow, i’m trying to create an origami animation from a plane! Couple of problems, first of all when i deform the plane the texture warps. I’ve tried all the projections and each of them are doing the same, what can i do to fix the texture on? Secondly for animating it i’m using the bone deformer. Is this the right thing to do? Ive gone about it by setting the vertex weight each time and deforming with the bone, but it doesn’t bend only the parts i want it to….please help i’m a beginner so if i’m talking nonsense i’m sorry

To fix your texture use the “Stick Texture” Tag.
Right click on the object (in the object manager) and in the C4D tags you will find it near the bottom.

As for the bending, bones are the right way to go. If I remember right Adam T. here had a tutorial about folding a box that might help but I cant seem to find it.
